• Verona Arena

  The Gondola is the iconic boat in Venice for lovers. A romantic trip with a singing Gondolier is a dream for many. Make it a reality but watch out, it can be expensive.

• Motoscafi, Water Taxis in Venice

  When you need to get to hard to reach places or need to get somewhere fast in Venice, Motoscafi are the answer. They are used as taxis would be in other cities.

• Palazzo Ducale - Doges Palace Venice

  This is the home of the Doge. As Venice was a mighty power in the world so its ruler required a palace to show his status. Located in St Marks Square on the Shore of the lagoon a tour around here is a must on any visit to Venice.

• Palazzo Pubblico Siena Town Hall

  The lovely red brick building is a highlight of a visit to Siena. Enjoy a meal in the Piazzo del Campo, where it is located, and then relax in the cool of this historic building.

• Il Palio of Siena

  Horse racing is a passionate sport. None more so than the great Palio in Siena.

• Santa Maria Della Scala in Siena

  Just across from the Cathedral in Siena is the ancient hospice. This is now a museum full of interesting artfacts.

• View from the Rocca San Gimignano

  Top your tour of this hilltop village with a view to die for and a memory that wil last from the old fortress.

• Duomo in Siena Cathdral

  This splendid gothic cathedral in Siena has many unique features. The facia is made of marbles. The carpark where it is located are the unfinshed walls of what might have been.

• Palazzo Ducale Venice

  This splendid palace in Venice was used for many things at different times. Three floors of delightful attractions inside tell its story.

• Piazza de Campo Siena

  Fabulous town square has some of the splendid medieval buildings in it. With restaurants all around, it is a great place to have a meal on a hot summer day.

• Pitti Palace in Florence

  This magnificent palace in Florence has beautiful grounds. In summer months 12 - 2pm is very hot in the gardens. These hours are best spent inside the many air conditioned galleries within.

• Sant'Augustino Church San Gimignano

  Plain to look at from the outside a wander inside is one to remember. Some incredible frescos and alters await you.

• The Big Tower or Torra Grossa in San Gimignano

  This tower stands out majestically on the skyline as you approach the town. Worth a trip to the top if you can climb the 200 steps.

• Municipal Art Gallery in San Gimignano

  A small art museum in San Gimignano that is worth a look. It is possible to stay here and look around as the others climb up to the top of the tower. (see above)

• The Baptistery in Pisa

  One of the nicest baptisteries in Italy.

• The Church of Santa Maria Forisportam Lucca

  A small church in Lucca that is of classic Italian design.

• The Town Square in Lucca

  Called Piazza Anfiteatro or Piazza del Mercato. It is near many restaurants and there are occasional concerts here.
