The island of Procida is one of the most beautiful - the smallest and the oldest island and takes pride of place next to its sister islands of Capri and Ischia. The 16th century Palace on the island - once used as the fortress and in latter years became a prison, now sits empty. The Castle was once owned by the Avalos Family. Its worth a visit - walk around and take a peek.
The Medieval Church is a place of peace and you will find a museum inside displaying some ancient pieces and interesting finds. There are some eery catacombs too.
