The beautiful Sorrento coastline stretches as far as the Bay of Naples and takes in superb views of Mount Vesuvius as well as the pretty island of Ischia. A popular town filled with easy going cafe bars, relaxing restaurants and a general slow pace of life. The old town is where you will find the harbour and the departures for ferries taking you to other islands and across to Naples.
There's plenty of opportunity to shop here with a good range of tourist shops, boutiques, fashion stores and gift stores. Piazzo Tasso is the central point for meeting and enjoys panoramic views out to sea - this really is the place to select a table and just sit a while as you take it all in.
