Meander through the cobbled streets and explore the ancient architecture - head over to the Trevi Fountains and then to the Piazza di Spagna - the Spanish Steps - this is a mystical monument in itself - the whole scene is made up of two triangles that meet at the points to form a type of square, there is a fountain in the shape of a boat and then at the top of the steps you find the church - this is the place of marriage proposals.

Palatine Hill is the home of the Roman Forum and the Colosseum - an amazing monument and piece of heritage.

There is a wealth of shopping in the city with three main shopping centres and an abundance of classy gift stores selling everything from the Montblanc pen to jewellery and Tortoiseshell items.

Good stuff: clean fresh room

Bad stuff: the area it was in

Overall: The hotel advertises itself as a musical experience but the cd collection was very limited (I have a bigger collection at home) and the cd player did not have a remote control which was surprising. The breakfast room and terrace was very nice but the staff were quite curt. The area was quite bleak but a few nice restaurants were around although very expensive considering it was off the beaten track.
