Events take place throughout the year and include the Theatrical season at the Greek Theatre running from May to July where you can enjoy classical music, dramas and tragedies. The Festival of Santa Lucia is in December and is a procession that involves the carrying of the solid silver statue of Santa Lucia being carried from the Cathedral to the Basilica del Sepolcro.
