In a great location in central Rome, the Everest hotel is the perfect choice for those travelling on a budget. Clean, tidy rooms with comfy beds and helpful staff are always available.

We are very easy to find. Located very centrally in Rome across from Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore and within 200 metres of Rome Termini the main train and bus stations. From this location you are also within a short walk (1km) of the Colosseum.

This is a budget travelers treat. You will get great prices for the cheap hotel rooms here and they are very clean and tidy. They are very simply furnished, but are air conditioned do and have comfortable beds for you to sleep in.

Staff here are trained to be as helpful as is possible. On arrival you will be able to get a map of the city as well as good information on where the good sights are.

For those of you who are here to get a taste of Roman cuisine, you will also find this area full of delightful restaurants and cafes. The staff will be only to glad to help you choose the best available, with your budget in mind.

Good stuff: Simple/basic but clean & smart, to have a decent quality en suite for the price was good, great location & accommodating staff. I spent very little time in the hotel aside from sleeping.

Bad stuff: It wouldn't have been a great place to spend lots of time; quality of breakfast wasn't that hot.

Overall: The hotel is extremely well located close to Termini. For such a central location, with en suite shower, it's a good price. If you're really on a budget you could go cheaper; if you intend to spend any significant amount of time in the hotel you might want to look for something a little pricier & less basic. But for me, needing a clean, comfortable & inexpensive room as a base for attending a conference then spending some time in the city, it was great.
