Spring time kicks off with the Easter Parade which starts from the Cross at the Colosseum and is led by the Pope. It's the season for art exhibitions, the International Horse Show in the grounds of the Borghese Palace and later in May the International Tennis Champtionships. Summertime is the time for open air entertainment - film, dance, music and theatre as well as the flower festival which takes place the Sunday after Corpus Domini where the streets in South Rome are carpeted with flowers. Its a time of laughter, joy and magic and of course fireworks. Later in the year is a time for Antique Dealers to venture around the fairs and for wine tasters to attend the Vino Novello Tasting at Campo de Fiori. Winter is devoted to the Madonna and the Nativity.
