We are situated on the Esquilino - one of the seven famous hills of ancient Rome, close to the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and the Opera. Step out of the front door and you have a truly remarkable choice of places to view within a very short walk. The Colosseum - built by the Emperors of the Flavian Dynasty, the Baths of Diocletian and the National Museum.

Be sure to pay homage to Vatican City and view its rich and extensive collection in the museum. The Sistine Chapel is a beautiful and amazing sight on its own. There are a host of churches but the most important and beautiful is the basilica of St Peter. Trevi Fountain is built on the back of the Poli Palace. A little further and you come to the Spanish Steps - the Piazza de Spagna with its mystical shape made from two triangles that meet at the points, a fountain built in the shape of a boat and at the top of the steps the church - this is the place to make that marriage proposal.

The Pantheon, Bocca Della Verita and a host of galleries are all to be viewed - if you have the time.

Be sure to take a walk down Trastevere where you will find a wealth of Trattories for that leisurely lunch and be seen down Via Veneto - home to the trendy, jet set and made famous by Hollywood. Roma has it all - so enjoy as much as you can.
