Marsala is a budget hotel within a 5 minute walk of Roma Termini station. The perfect no-frills, yet clean and cheap place to stay in central Rome.

The Marsala hotel is what the Italians call a "pensione" (budget hotel). Its location is superb for any budget traveller as it has most of Rome with easy reach on foot. Also coaches and trains at Termini will connect you to both Rome airports easily.

Being this close to Termini train station means it location is very strategic. The 5 minute walk to or from the station is quick, it is just across the road, Via Marsala. Additionally we are very well located for those of you who wish to use sightseeing buses and the metro. However, be careful at night. It is best to return here by taxi.

All our rooms are good with basic facilities. Some have en-suite and others shared bathrooms. It is a clean place to stay and bed linen is changed on a daily basis.

Staff here are friendly and willing to help book tours and tell you about places to see in Rome.A self-service, continental breakfast is available here in a clean and spacious dining area.

This is a good value for money, budget hotel in central Rome considering where it is located.

Good stuff: The TV was nice. Being by the termini station was great.

Bad stuff: The bed was very uncomfortable, the bathroom/shower were filthy. I had to leave my key at the front desk every time I left the hotel leaving my stuff unsecured. They would not let me check out late with out paying for another night. I only needed 2 hours and trust me in the middle of winter they were not busy at all.

Overall: I was overall very displeased with the Hotel/staff and would not recommend it to anyone even for the cheep price. They ripped me off 60 euro and refuse to refund my money.
