There's a wealth of options in this beautiful town - first of all this region is famous for the Valpolicella wine and the Amarone wine of Veneto - be sure to try some at lunch time or in the evenings with those gastronomic delights.
A romantic city where the story of Romeo and Juliet was set - you can see Juliet's Balcony and many other sites. Verona City Gate, Arena of Verona which was built in the 1st century and the Statue of Dante. There are Roman Ruins near the North Gate and don't miss the Basilica di San Fermo.
You can take a guided tour by foot around Verona with a lunch included if you so wish. Or why not take a scenic drive out in to the hills behind the town - fabulous photographic opportunities and the chance to taste those wines once again. Enjoy and explore.
