Comfortable and charming we are to be found at the gateway to the island of Ortigia. Dating back to the 1900's we provide you with a place of peace and tranquillity. Our very professional and caring team of staff will be only too happy to help you and ensure your stay is a happy one.
Lots to do and see here with the crystal clear waters of the ocean and two rivers running through the city - there's lots on offer. Riverside walks, sunbathing, splashing in the sea and simply soaking up the atmosphere as you revive, refresh and relax your mind, body and soul.
Famous for our Papyrus paper - made from the rare plant that grows around the River Ciane - this makes a perfect gift to take home and can be bought either plain or coloured. Check out the museum where you will see plants going back to the 15th century - amazingly well kept.
Many events and festivals take place throughout the year and involve the Festival of Santa Lucia which is a procession through the town. The Theatrical season begins in May and continues on in to July - the arena for this is the Greek Theatre - music, drama and tragedies.
La Dolce Vita simply involves being out and about in the evenings and being part of the scene - lovely walks, divine restaurants serving the best of the best - fresh fish especially tuna is a favourite here and is wonderfully washed down with the Nero d'Avola.
Sight seeing should include the cathedral and the numerous churches, monuments and palaces - there are museums paying tribute to ancient objects and the art world. Neapolis Archaeological Park is filled with Greek and Roman monuments and makes a very pleasant place to stroll around.
