 We welcome you warmly to this most historical building - once the home of the famous painter Giacomo Favretto. Dating back to the 14th century and filled with charming furnishings, decor and really pretty ensuite rooms with wooden beams and subtle lighting. Really romantic place to stay.
You will find us on the Grand Canal, just a few minutes to the central points of the Rialto Bridge and St Marks Square. We are privileged to enjoy the title of Residenza d'Epoca granted by the commission of Fine Arts. Great care has been taken to keep the style and ambiance within original taste.
A quiet and tranquil area where you will enjoy a most pleasurable time and yet still close enough to the hussle and bussle of the cosmopolitan St Marks Square. Visit the Basilica there, view the beautiful interior filled with mosaics and marble and fine art work, enjoy a rather expensive coffee in one of the famous cafes and head over to Mercier which is the main arena for shopping. Here you will find every designer name under the sun - Gucci, Cartier, Rolex, Louis Vuitton and many others. Jewellery, fine fashions and the marvellous and famous Venetian masks which are worn every Mardi Gras around February time. A wonderful time of year to visit - still quite cold but fresh and lively.
Spend tranquil and romantic evenings - start off with drinks on our terrace and enjoy the magnificent view over the canal, enjoy the evening lights shimmering on the water and then take a leisurely stroll to one of the nearby restaurants - intimate and inviting and serving a delicious selection of Venetian gastronomic delights.
