Lipari is a volcanic island and is renowned for its wonderful diving opportunities. Its advisable to go with qualified divers and why not take your PADI course whilst there. The undersea world is filled with coloured creatures, amazing life and magic.
There are some super restaurants here in so be sure to try one each evening and taste the delightful regional dishes with the rather good wines.
We are quite close to the Archaeological Museum which will give you a good insight in to the history and culture of this beautiful place.
Why not take a walking tour of the Citadel or Acropolis and then head in to the main town and explore Corso Vittorio Emauele - the main street of the town. There's plenty of coffee shops for that refreshing break and take time to simply watch the world go by.
