When in Rome - do as the Romans - be sure to make time for your favourite coffee - cappuccino, macciato, expresso or cafe latte and dine in style along the Trastevere where you will find a host of Trattories and some rather exclusive shops - be sure to treat yourself because this is where the actors, writers and painters of the world visit. Be seen down Via Veneto - the street made famous by Hollywood and home to the hip and trendy jet set.
Take a walk through the Borghese Gardens and view the creations of Bernini and don't leave the city without tasting the fine ice cream in the old town at Giolitti - there are some 70 flavours to choose from.
