Be sure to visit the Orecchio di Dioniso - a deep cave that goes down as far as 65 metres - it is famous for its special acoustics with sound produced inside the cave being amplified up to 16 times.

Visit the castles of Cordari and Maniace and spend time in the beautiful Neapolis Archaeological Park which covers 240,000 square metres and is filled with monuments built by the Romans and the Greeks.

Shopping is unique here with the famous and rare Papyrus paper which can be bought in plain and colour and makes a lovely gift. There's gold, coins and lots of delicious speciality foods you can take home - sweets that combine creamy combinations and include honey, nuts and fruits - divine.
