To get to the island you leave from Fondamenta Nuove and take the number 41 or 42 motor boat and you'll be there in around 10 minutes. Enjoy exquisite displays of glass in every colour imaginable and choose a piece to take away and keep as a special souvenir of Venice. You'll get to see the Church of San Pietro Martire and some art work and frescoes by Bellini on the way over there. Once there be sure to visit the museum where you will find over 4000 pieces that depict the story of glass blowing over the centuries - fascinating.
