Set in the heart of the magnificent city of Rome, we offer the very best in comfortable accommodation and excellent service. Built in 1885 in the heart of one of the most historic and beautiful areas of the city, our hotel was originally a superbly elegant and aristocratic town house. It has now been transformed into a wonderfully comfortable, elegant and sophisticated hotel, and offers the very finest in accommodation for visitors to our city.
Our family run establishment is located close to all of the ancient and interesting sights that are popular with tourists, with many of them within walking distance and those that are a little too far to walk are only minutes away on the safe and reliable public transport system.
We have thirty three single, double, triple and quadruple rooms that are perfect for the business traveller or for families, with our larger rooms accommodating four people, plus a cot may be added for small children. All of our rooms are wonderfully comfortable and classically decorated, with some of them having ceilings with exquisite paintings and air conditioning, and all rooms having en-suite bathroom with bath/shower; direct dial telephone and colour TV.
Breakfast is served in our cosy breakfast room where a choice of foods are available from our substantial buffet breakfast.

Good stuff: Iam partially disabled & the staff went out of their way to help me, they even brought my breakfast to my room so I wouldn't have to climb the stairs. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel if you want to be central. Local restaurants were reasonable with good service.

Bad stuff: Nothing really. Some people may find acommodation a little basic but the helpfulness of the staff more than makes up for that & the breakfast selection was better than I've had in bigger hotels.

Overall: The room was quite basic although perfectly adequate, it was clean & quiet. The staff were extremely helpful & all spoke English. It was in a quiet side street but very central.No complaints a all. A very nice hotel with good staff. I would certainly stay there again & will recommend it to friends & family.

Good stuff: The location and the staff at the reception

Bad stuff: Cleanliness and breakfeast

Overall: We were told that our sheets and towels would be changed every 2nd day, which is fine. However, after 4 days without these things being changed I called the reception and they assurred me that they would take care of it the next day. This didn't happen and I had to do it myself - for 88 E a night a really think such things should not happen! However, the staff at the reception did their best - apparently the mistake was due to the cleaning staff.
