For mainstream shopping there are three commercial centres filled with every kind of store you can imagine. Trendy cafe bars where you can take that much needed coffee break and simply people watch.
Main sights not to miss are the Vatican, Pantheon, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Baths of Caracalla, Bocca Della Verita, Domus Aurea and the central square of Piazza Venezia - this is where the four main roads of the city converge and where the awesome Palazzio Venezia is to be found, built for Pope Paul II.
