The Roman Amphitheatres are worth viewing - one is similar in style to the Colosseum in Rome. Be sure to view Ursino Castle which is now a the Civico Museum and dates back to the 13th century.

And now for that trip up Mount Etna - you can take the Funicula up the mountain and rejoice at the views as you do and there are guided tours too where you will have the comfort of a 4x4 to travel the tracks. Once at the top enjoy the panoramic views and take those photos.

At days end be sure to find a delightful restaurant - there are plenty to choose from and indulge in the regional delights with the wines to help you relax and unwind.
